October

  • On October 18th at the Scarborough Civic Centre, SC4K proudly celebrated our students’ creativity and problem-solving skills at the Tech Titans Trophy Night. The event also featured our Robotics Expo and the first edition of Grad & Beyond, guiding students toward future pathways.

  • As part of Small Business Month, we were honored to meet Hon. Nina Tangri, Provincial Minister for Small Business, to share SC4K’s success and insights on fostering STEM education and innovation.

  • Additionally, we were delighted to be invited to the City of Toronto Small Business Forum to meet Councillor Carroll and city officials to discuss strengthening STEM education and youth innovation in our community

September

  • Our unforgettable Coders’ Coliseum 2025 brought together over 80 young innovators on September 20th at the Scarborough Civic Centre. The energy, creativity, and coding brilliance were truly inspiring! Congratulations to all the winners, and a big thank you to everyone who participated.

August

  • GenZ CanHack 2025 was successfully held on 23rd August at Commander Recreation Centre. Congratulations to all the winners, and a big thank you to everyone who participated!

  • We had a fantastic time hosting our SC4K booth at the Karthikeyan Festival, connecting with the community and sharing the excitement of coding and robotics with kids and families. 

July

  • ​Our Astro Pi team was featured in CBC Kids News — a proud moment for SC4K & K4KTCC!

  • Words from Space: Astronaut David Saint-Jacques inspired our students with the message, “You have the power to change the world.”

  • SC4K students presented their drone project at the Canada Day event and represented SC4K at both Canada Day and Taste of Lawrence.

  • We were guest instructors at the BGC Peterborough Tech Nation Camp at James Strath Public School.

  • Successfully wrapped up our July STEM based Summer Camps.

June

  • Our K4KTCC has officially collaborated with Code club, a global initiative by the Raspberry pi foundation.

  • Innovation hub starts to run at both Markham and Scarborough centers from June onwards.

  • Students from Kids for Kids Toronto Coding Club featured in a live YouTube stream interviewing ESA Astronaut Luca Parmitano as part of the Astro Pi Challenge!

2024

2024 was a year of bold growth, innovation, and new beginnings for SC4K as we expanded our reach, launched new programs, and built a stronger foundation for the future.​

  • Launched Coders’ Coliseum 2024 and hosted the in-person finals in July.

  • Started career training for university graduates.

  • Opened a new branch in Brampton.

  • Ran a successful STEM Summer Camp 2024.

  • Hosted the GenZ CanHack 2024 Hackathon.

  • Purchased our own unit in Markham — a major milestone!

  • Celebrated student success at the Tech Titans Trophy Night 2024.

  • Partnered with VPCI FTC Robotics Team.

  • Introduced PA Day Workshops and launched the Innovation Hub.

  • Started Mechatronics Classes and the Winter Challenge 2024.

2023

2023 was a breakthrough year for SC4K — from coding to community, we laid strong foundations for the future with new programs, real-world tech, and our very first Fun Fest celebration.​

  • Kids for Kids Toronto Coding Club was registered as a not-for-profit organization.

  • In-person classes officially began in August 2023

  • SC4K introduced AI into the coding curriculum for all student levels

  • Launched Robotics classes for kids aged 4 to 18 years

  • Started coding classes for adults, expanding our learning community

  • Celebrated our first Fun Fest during the December holidays with great success.

  • Participated in major promotions at Thamizh Fest, TDSB school events, and through sponsorships, media features, and digital campaigns

2022

  • In 2022, SC4K continued to grow by reaching more students, expanding our curriculum, and building a strong foundation for hands-on STEM learning

2021

  • This is the mile stone for SC4K

  • SC4K began its journey in 2021 with a vision to inspire young minds through coding and technology education
