2026

January

January 2026 marked an energetic start to the year as we continued engaging students and strengthening community connections.

  • Successfully completed our first PA Day program of 2026.

  • Proudly participated as the Platinum Sponsor of the WTBF Badminton Tournament on January 24th, marking our first promotional event of the year.

2025

2025 marked a powerful year of impact and recognition for SC4K — from national media features and global STEM collaborations to expanded innovation hubs and inspiring student-led competitions. Together, we continued shaping future-ready innovators.​

  • Hosted Coders’ Coliseum 2025 with over 80 young innovators at the Scarborough Civic Centre.

  • Successfully ran GenZ CanHack 2025 Hackathon.

  • Purchased our second owned unit in Scarborough, strengthening our physical presence.

  • Expanded the Innovation Hub across Markham and Scarborough centres.

  • Celebrated student achievements at Tech Titans Trophy Night with Robotics Expo and Grad & Beyond.

  • Featured nationally on CBC Kids News through our Astro Pi team.

  • Collaborated with Code Club (Raspberry Pi Foundation) and became Educational Partners with Open EDG.

  • Students interacted live with ESA Astronauts through the Astro Pi Challenge and global livestreams.

  • Ran successful STEM-based Summer Camps and PA Day workshops.

  • Represented SC4K at major community and national events including Canada Day and festivals.

  • Strengthened community ties through festivals, forums, and partnerships with civic leaders.

2024

2024 was a year of bold growth, innovation, and new beginnings for SC4K as we expanded our reach, launched new programs, and built a stronger foundation for the future.​

  • Launched Coders’ Coliseum 2024 and hosted the in-person finals in July.

  • Started career training for university graduates.

  • Opened a new branch in Brampton.

  • Ran a successful STEM Summer Camp 2024.

  • Hosted the GenZ CanHack 2024 Hackathon.

  • Purchased our own unit in Markham — a major milestone!

  • Celebrated student success at the Tech Titans Trophy Night 2024.

  • Partnered with VPCI FTC Robotics Team.

  • Introduced PA Day Workshops and launched the Innovation Hub.

  • Started Mechatronics Classes and the Winter Challenge 2024.

2023

2023 was a breakthrough year for SC4K — from coding to community, we laid strong foundations for the future with new programs, real-world tech, and our very first Fun Fest celebration.​

  • Kids for Kids Toronto Coding Club was registered as a not-for-profit organization.

  • In-person classes officially began in August 2023

  • SC4K introduced AI into the coding curriculum for all student levels

  • Launched Robotics classes for kids aged 4 to 18 years

  • Started coding classes for adults, expanding our learning community

  • Celebrated our first Fun Fest during the December holidays with great success.

  • Participated in major promotions at Thamizh Fest, TDSB school events, and through sponsorships, media features, and digital campaigns

2022

  • In 2022, SC4K continued to grow by reaching more students, expanding our curriculum, and building a strong foundation for hands-on STEM learning

2021

  • This is the mile stone for SC4K

  • SC4K began its journey in 2021 with a vision to inspire young minds through coding and technology education
