2026
June
June was a month of growth, new opportunities, and meaningful milestones for as we prepared for an exciting summer of STEM learning.

We proudly launched our Summer Co-op Program, giving Grade 11 students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in coding, robotics, AI, marketing, and real-world project development.

This month also marked the opening of our new SC4K Whitby Centre, helping us bring more Coding, Robotics, and AI learning opportunities to students and families in the Durham region.

Our Coders’ Coliseum 2026 Free Online Mentorship Program officially began, supporting students as they prepare for upcoming coding and robotics competitions.

We are especially proud of our Spring Co-op students, who successfully developed a Student Registration Mobile Application using React JS, PostgreSQL, and RESTful APIs. Their hard work and industry-level project documentation reflect the creativity and dedication of our young innovators.

May was filled with innovation, creativity, and exciting student achievements as we welcomed the upcoming summer season.

GenZ CanHack 2026 has received an overwhelming response, with enthusiastic registrations continuing from students and schools across the community.

SC4K proudly received partnership support from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) for hackathon planning, technical guidance, and judge participation, strengthening our mission to inspire the next generation of innovators.

We would also like to remind parents that the Early Bird Registration Discount for our Summer Camp ends on 31st May 2026.

This month, we also started producing our own promotional video content to better showcase our programs, student projects, and learning environment.

April
April 2026 was a dynamic and productive month, marked by continued growth in our STEM programs and the strengthening of our community partnerships.

All student submissions for Astro Pi Mission Zero achieved flight status and are approved to run on the ISS

Students participated in engaging hands-on learning during the Easter STEM Workshop

SC4K received official approval from YRDSB to promote the GenZ-2026 Hackathon across its schools

Registration for the Summer STEM Camp is now open, offering students opportunities to learn and build skills during the summer

March
March 2026 marked an exciting and productive month as we continued to expand STEM learning opportunities and strengthen community partnerships.

We successfully hosted a Spring Camp in collaboration with Catholic Cross Cultural Services, where students participated in engaging, hands-on STEM activities designed to build creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence in technology.

Our students also completed the final submission for the Astro Pi Mission Zero, a global initiative that allows young learners to apply coding skills through space-related projects and real-world problem solving.

RBC bank opened Summer internship for grade 11 and grade 12 students.

We have also initiated collaboration discussions with City councils in Ajax, Markham, Toronto, and Brampton to support the development and implementation of accessible STEM programs for local youth.

2024 was a year of bold growth, innovation, and new beginnings for SC4K as we expanded our reach, launched new programs, and built a stronger foundation for the future.​

2023
2023 was a breakthrough year for SC4K — from coding to community, we laid strong foundations for the future with new programs, real-world tech, and our very first Fun Fest celebration.​

Kids for Kids Toronto Coding Club was registered as a not-for-profit organization.
